The Museo Vivo del Muralismo is a cultural space dedicated to sharing Mexican muralism. It’s located in the Historic Center area of Mexico City, inside the iconic Public Education Secretariat (Secretaría de Educación Pública) building, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This place houses impressive creations by David Alfaro Siqueiros, Diego Rivera, Roberto Montenegro, Luis Nishizawa, among others. Through its murals, the museum tells our country’s history,identity and social values, offering an educational and cultural experience for everyone.
The venue has three levels and several exhibition rooms where you’ll find interactive pieces, including audio guides that explain the artworks. It also features a library, a children’s reading room, a Fondo de Cultura Económica bookstore, and a café.
